Who We Are

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation is made up of a Board of eleven (11) Directors who serve 3-year terms. Representation includes a member of the Legislature, a representative of the county Planning Board, local representatives from the financial and real estate industries, community development organizations and the general public. We endeavor to be geographically & demographically representative across the county.  Our meetings are generally held the second (2nd) Wednesday of each month at 9AM in Mayville, Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building. Qualifications, manner of appointment, and term of office of members of the Board

Members of the Board of Directors must be residents of, or be employed in, the County of Chautauqua. Appointments shall be made by the County Executive, subject to confirmation by the County Legislature. The term of office of members of the Board shall be two (2) years.

The Land Bank endeavors to have board membership be representative of geographic, and demographic interests in the county, as well as represent desired skill sets pertinent to land bank business.
